Legal Function

The official national security assessment instrument jointly maintained by the Interior and Exterior Committees.

Responsibilities

  • Uses a numerical scale from 0 to 10.
  • 0 represents near-total systemic collapse; 10 represents absolute global tranquility with no active threats or concerns affecting the Realm.
  • Interior monitors domestic factors such as civil conditions, infrastructure integrity, and internal policy enforcement.
  • Exterior monitors foreign and international factors such as geopolitical tensions, diplomatic developments, and foreign military threats.
  • The official value cannot be changed until the Leaders of Interior and Exterior confer and mutually agree.
  • The current value is to be publicly communicated through an official government channel and updated as necessary.

Institutional Relationship

The NSSI is a joint instrument, not subordinate solely to either standing committee.
